I totally need to thank everyone for the awesome bday wishes – you guys are making this day truly epic. With that in mind, I have to share my fave song to blast on this day every year. Stereo Total‘s cover of KC and the Sunshine Band‘s “Get Down Tonight” = instant party! It’s especially important to keep postive on February 3rd, because this is of course “The Day That Music Died.” Commence La Bamba screening immediately – but only after you jam out to this song! Also, please do not feel the need to leave “American Pie” in it’s entirety as a voicemail message. You know who you are.
